In order to meet the market demand, Shanghai Turbine Works Co., Ltd. has developed very perfect 300MW steam turbines (including: 300 MW, 330 MW, 350 MW) through years of independent innovation and development. And the 300MW steam turbines cover different parameters (subcritical, supercritical), different functions (steam condensation, one-off steam extraction, and two-time steam extraction) and different cooling methods (humid-cooled and air-cooled), different rotation speeds (3000r/min and 3600r/min), which can meet the needs of different users. Supercritical units
The supercritical units can be divided into different types, such as supercritical, intermediate reheating, single axis, high and middle pressure cylinder, pure condensation, extraction condensation and double extraction condensations. The steam inlet parameters are 24.2MPa/566℃/566℃.

Subcritical units
The subcritical units can be divided into different types, such as subcritical, intermediate reheating, single axis, high and middle pressure cylinder, pure condensation, extraction condensation and double extraction condensations. The steam inlet parameters are 24.2MPa/566℃/566℃.

60Hz units
In order to meet some foreign market demand, our company independently designs and manufactures 60Hz units. And the 60Hz units can be divided into different types, such as ultra high pressure, subcritical, supercritical.

  • Our company introduced the design and manufacturing technology of 300MW Steam Turbine from Westinghouse Electric Co., Ltd. in 1981. And our company has formed a mature design system after several optimizations, which can meet the requirements of different users.

  • 300MW steam turbine has excellent performance. And it can be divided into different types, such as steam condensation, air-cooled and steam extraction. In addition, our company developed a series of new products for 300 MW units in order to meet market demand, such as double steam extraction, steam extraction & air cooling and supercritical units, which expanded product species and enhanced the market competitiveness.   • As of February 2009, this series of products accounted for nearly 50% share of the market. And contracts had been signed for 4 60Hz units(exported to Brazil), 2 supercritical units and 87 units(including 16 units for international customers). In addition, 195 subcritical 300 MW units (including 5 units for international customers) had been put into use and 14 units (including 4 for international customers) had been being installed.
Production Capacity and Achievements
  • Our company produces at least 32 300MW kilowatt thermal power units per year by taking a series of measures, such as the separation of non-core businesses, increase production capacity and the use of socialized division of labor.
