The combined cycle power generation refers to the process in which the system (composed of the gas turbine, the power generator, the waste heat boiler and the steam turbine), recycles waste heat emitted from the gas turbine by passing it through the boiler and converting it into steam, which can in turn be fed back into the steam turbine to continue to generate power.
