On July 27, the China Machinery Enterprise Management Association (CMMA) released the 2016 China Top 500 Machinery Industry Enterprises, in which Shanghai Electric ranked 14^th. According to this report, our company maintained its position over the previous year. Shanghai Electric, one of the three leading machinery entities in China, shows a plethora of strengths and comprehensive competitiveness. As for the other machinery leaders, Dongfang Electric Corporation moves up 2 places to 35^th while Harbin Electric Corporation drops 3 places and ranks 51^st.

The report implements the Competitiveness Value Added (CVA) evaluation model designed by World Executive Group, carrying out a comprehensive analysis about sales income, gross profit, profit ratio and growth rate.
